Corrie’s Lucy Fallon is ‘a high risk pregnancy’ due to her ‘heart-shaped’ uterus

Former Corrie actress Lucy Fallon has revealed that doctors have told her pregnancy is "high risk" as she has a "heart-shaped uterus" Lucy, 26, exclusively shared herself and her boyfriend Ryan Ledson's pregnancy joy with OK!, and the pair also opened up about how they had suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage back in March before falling pregnant again.

Speaking exclusively to OK!, Lucy explained how she will be closely monitored at Ormskirk Hospital throughout her pregnancy for the condition. “I found out quite a few years ago that I had it but didn’t realise it would affect anything,” she said. “It can cause miscarriages, but that’s not the reason I had a miscarriage last time. “It’s just mainly towards the end because the baby tends to grow in one side of the womb instead of around all of it and then at the end it can run out of room so you’re at high risk of having an early birth." She continued: "I’ve had quite a few checks on my cervix and they’re happy with the way things are right now so hopefully everything will be fine and I won’t come early, they’re just being super cautious.” With the help and support of footballer Ryan, who plays for Championship side Preston North End, and their families, Lucy is remaining calm about her pregnancy. “At 28 weeks I will have a scan to see how the baby is growing and to see the room the baby has and then they’ll assess the situation,” she said. “If they think the baby is going to come early, they might suggest I book in for a C-section, but I’m quite a chilled person and I don’t have a.
