Coronation Street dear Sally Dynevor is "still in shock" a month after she was told about her MBE award. The Queen's New Year honours for 2021 includes the Sally Metcalfe actress for her services to drama, having starred on the Cobbles for 35 years.

She made her Weatherfield debut back in 1986, and Sally admits she had no idea the beloved soap would take her this far when she first set foot onto set. "I am humbled, grateful and very proud to have received this honour," the 57-year-old shared. "I am still in shock. "I didn't believe it was real when I first found out earlier this month that I was to be given an MBE.
