Coronation Street fans have found themselves changing their opinions on a once much-loved character. Chesney Brown has been having a difficult time of late as money remains tight at No.5.

Last week, the dad of five and his partner Gemma Winter were left frantic when Joseph disappeared. The 10-year-old left home after he revealed that he was being bullied at school because they can’t afford to buy new things. A search soon began for the missing schoolboy when all the while he was being hidden by cousin Hope Stape in the family's loft.

Joseph's disappearance wasn't as dramatic as it felt to a worried Chesney and Gemma, and he was soon returned home after being spotted back on the cobbles by Bernie Winter's friend Clint Stubbins.
