A sleep expert has warned Brits working from home during the coronavirus pandemic to avoid the temptation to set up office in bed.

While it might sound appealing, Dr Sophie Bostock claims doing so is bad for your health, as it will affect your posture, productivity and sleep hygiene.

As millions across the UK set up makeshift offices in their homes, Dr Bostock says it’s important to make an effort not to blur the boundaries between work and rest, the Mail Online reports. “When it comes to switching off the light at night, if you've been in your bed all day, thoughts about work are more likely to persist,” she explains.
