Ten more people have died after being diagnosed with coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths in the UK to 21. The UK government's chief medical adviser said the patients were all in "at risk" groups, with 1,140 people now testing positive for the virus.
This is a rise of 342 from yesterday's total. There have been six deaths in London, six in the midlands, three in Scotland, two in the south east, two in the north west and one in the east of England.
There have also been three deaths in unknown locations. Professor Chris Witty offered his sincere condolences to the families and friends of the patients.
