Coronavirus: Stars Wars filming ‘ditched’ as production staff ‘sent home for 30 days’

Production for a new Star Wars film has been ditched today as staff have been sent home for “at least 30 days” due to coronavirus, it is claimed.

Filming at the famous Pinewood Studios has reportedly been stopped for the time being, and workers on the series were allegedly sent home due to the outbreak of the deadly disease.

Disney+ Star Wars spin-off which will star Obi-Wan Kenobi is thought to have been affected, and the streaming service has been contacted for comment by Mirror Online.

Meanwhile filming for the latest Jurassic World movie Dominion is said to have been put on hold, according to The Sun. A source told the publication: "Filming just stopped today and staff were sent home.
