dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire, new data released today has shown.Not one single area has suppressed the virus according to figures from Public Health Scotland.Ayrshire is split into almost 100 different zones with every single one of them with cases at the moment.Arran was the only region left standing last Sunday but a handful of positive tests has meant the island no longer qualifies as being 'suppressed'.Today, the region recorded 352 positive cases — 2,604 in the last seven days.
That's now 31,483 since the pandemic began.NHS Ayrshire & Arran's test positivity rate is the third-highest in Scotland with 12.6 per cent of people tested returning positive cases.A total of two people in Ayrshire have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid in the past.
