Coronavirus infection rates in Greater Manchester have remained below national average according to the latest data. Rates have gone up in four boroughs of Greater Manchester but fallen in five of them.
And they have stayed level in Wigan. Salford continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in the whole of the region.
The borough recorded a rate of 429.0 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending November 26, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency.
The lowest infection rate is in Manchester, where the rate is 311.8 cases per 100,000 people. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 370.9 cases per 100,000 population.
