Footage has emerged of a Hindu group drinking cow urine in the hope it'll warn off the deadly coronavirus . Around 200 people, part of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (All India Hindu Union), are seen sipping the liquid at a party.

Many Hindus consider the cow sacred and believe the urine has medicinal properties. However, experts say there is no evidence cow urine can prevent coronavirus or cure diseases like cancer.
