mirror.co.ukWell, this is definitely a first. I didn't think I’d ever be writing to Mirror readers from my bed on a Tuesday morning. In fact I didn't think I was ever be likely to be lounging around, in forced isolation, and sweating, in bed on a Tuesday morning, with my husband and two sons all off from work and the muted sounds of an eerie, silent atmosphere travelling through my sickroom window.
I definitely hadn't entertained the idea of being joined by, and consequently hosting, a bed partner I’d never heard of before, never mind been in touch with.
Have to say, I’m not enjoying its company. Covid-19 isn't a cuddly, friendly visitor. It might think it’s cosily wheedled its way into my bed, and my body, but it’s definitely not welcome.
