Coronation Street viewers were in for a surprise on Thursday night, with some speculating a Hollyoaks crossover was unfolding.

Dylan Wilson's (Liam McCheyne) knife possession, linked to Mason Radcliffe's (Luca Toolan) murder, landed him in a Secure Training Centre (STC).The episode, which aired on ITVX that morning, saw Dylan trying to keep his head down, but his connection to teacher Daniel Osbourne didn't go unnoticed by the other inmates.

One inmate, Brody, took an interest in newcomer Dylan, leaving him unnerved. Dylan confessed that he and Daniel were neighbours, prompting Brody to advise him to keep this information under wraps.

Spoilers released last week had hinted at this development, with Dylan left fearing the worst.The spoilers also revealed that Brody would extend a helping hand to Dylan, who faces hostility from some of the lads in the centre, reports the Mirror.
