The 43-year-old actor has appeared alongside Alan, who stars as Tyrone Dobbs, in the ITV soap for more than 20 years and now that his co-star is competing on the broadcaster's jungle reality show, he has called for him to face one of the grisly challenges to win food for the camp.
Speaking on Lorraine with Lorraine Kelly on Monday (November 25), he said: "I think he's doing really well. I'd like to see a bit more of him.
I think being Camp Leader doesn't really help because he can't really get involved in anything, that's not done him any favours really.
