Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher has bravely shared her recent diagnosis in a heartfelt Instagram post. Mollie revealed on her social media account that she had been diagnosed with ADHD after suspecting that she was living with the condition "for years".
With this revelation from medical professionals, the 26 year old soap star expressed that she is "finally happy" now that aspects of her life are beginning to "make sense now." The TV actress posted a snippet from an ADHD Chatter Podcast episode featuring author Kat Brown, where Kat talks about how the condition influences people's behaviour.
Alongside the posted clip, Mollie penned: "I've just recently been diagnosed after knowing for years and I'm just finally happy that everything makes sense now." Mollie is frequently snapped looking very different from her on-screen character Nina.The star lives in Manchester with her boyfriend Dan Myers, and the pair looked utterly loved-up in a recent selfie she posted to her Instagram page.
