Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has left fans with more questions than answers with a new video. The actor took to social media as he appeared to find what was on his plate rather amusing amid the often confusing period between Christmas and New Year.

Rather than take to Instagram about winning the annual ITV special, The Big Soap Quiz: Coronation Street v Emmerdale which aired on Thursday night (December 28), Jack was more distracted by a chocolate desert which seemingly melted, or became squashed, to resemble something rather unappetising.

Sharing the clip to Instagram, Jack, famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, filmed his plate and could just simply be heard it fits of laughter behind the camera.
