The soap icon knew who he was, but unfortunately Jack didn't recognise Johnny Briggs who played the late Underworld factory boss Mike Baldwin. "I saw Johnny Briggs, he was in the green room," Jack remembered. "And he came over to me and said 'oh you're the new David Platt aren't you?' "I said 'yeah, who are you?'
