Ex-Corrie actress Alexandra Mardell has left her former co-stars and fans 'crying' after revealing her latest job. The actress, who played Emma Brooker in the soap, has announced she's taken on a role with budget supermarket Aldi after her exit from the soap last year.
The bubbly hairdresser first arrived on the cobbles in 2018, and in just four years made a big, pink and glittery impression on the Coronation Street residents.
Initially working as an apprentice at Audrey's salon, Emma's storylines have also included a fling with David Platt, Chesney Brown and Seb Franklin, before a rocky romance almost led her to marrying troublemaker Curtis Delamere. She departed from the soap in April 2022 . Now, Emma has moved onto new opportunities, and now she has taken on a role she felt "connected" to, for supermarket giant Aldi, Liverpool Echo reports.
