Weatherfield reels in the aftermath of the car crash that left viewers on the edge of their seats last week. Wednesday's episode of Coronation Street kicked off with a foreboding flashforward of Imran Habeen (played by Charlie de Melo) leaving a chilling message for girlfriend Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) in which he revealed everything he'd kept hidden.
Viewers soon witnessed tragedy unfold however, in the form of a horrific car crash which left Imran and Toyah unconscious.The future of baby Alfie seemingly remains uncertain, while suspicions are beginning to increase increase over what caused the accident as the police continue their probe.

With Abi now home after being questioned with regard to her involvement in the crash, she and Kevin attempt to process the chaotic events.The police continue to investigate, having allowed Abi Frankin (Sally Carmen) to return home to patner Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), but they're still convinced the crash wasn’t an accident.
