Coronation Street's Tony Maudsley delights fans with Benidorm reunion that has him 'bursting with pride'

While many will likely recognise Tony for the role of George Shuttleworth in the ITV soap, many won't shake off his past acting credits, particularly that of hairdresser Kenneth Du Beke in the hit sitcom Benidorm, a role he played from 2011 to 2018.
That was quickly proven when he took to social media with a picture of him alongside his co-star and fellow Blow 'n' Go colleague Adam Gillen, who starred as Liam Conroy in Benidorm. He added: "I’m bursting with pride having watched my little sidekick shining like a star in the West End in Cabaret.
You were phenomenal Adam Gillen. My heart is full to bursting! Soooo proud of you! #LiamAndKenneth." Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Dutting was quick to respond to the post, writing: "Love this," while Frankie Goes to Hollywood star Holly Johnson commented: "Beautiful".
