Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw star teases romantic return ahead of big milestone

Coronation Street star Gareth Pierce has teased the return of a love interest for his character on the cobbles. The actor joined the ITV soap back in 2020 as the already established Todd Grimshaw.

Todd returned to Weatherfield and wasted no time in interfering in his ex Billy Mayhew's relationship with Paul Foreman, before his lies about Paul, blaming him for a number of events which were actually Todd's doing, resulted in Billy ending his relationship with Paul.

It was later that the truth about Todd's meddling was uncovered and by 2023, Summer Spellman's three dads had put the past behind them and Paul had reconciled with Billy, moving back into 19a Rosamund Street with him and Summer while Todd remained a close friend of both men. However, Gareth has teased a romantic twist for Todd ahead of a big milestone for his on-screen alter-ego. Speaking to Digital Spy on the red carpet at the National Television Awards last week, Gareth discussed Todd's love life – promising future developments whether Moses comes back or not.
