Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver was left 'mortified' after an unfortunate slip-up during a visit to a pharmacy. The 60 year old actress took to Instagram to share a video as she explained that she'd accidentally asked for medicine to help with an STI (sexually transmitted infection) rather than a UTI (urinary tract infection).
In the clip, Sue laughed as she said: "Can’t believe I’m actually sharing this. "I had to go to the pharmacy and it was busy and there was quite a queue behind me. "And I went up to the counter and I said: 'Morning love.
Have you got anything for an STI? I’m just starting with one." She continued: "What I meant to say was, 'Have you got anything for UTI?
Because I’m just starting one.'." Sue burst into more giggles as she said: "Oh my god. I don’t know why I said it. "My hand’s shaking as I’m holding this." Sue then gave her followers some advice as she said: "Don’t get your letters mixed up when you need some medication!" She captioned the post: “Can’t quite believe I’ve posted this" with a selection of laughing and face-palm emojis. "DON’T get your alphabet mixed up… MORTIFIED…" Sue's followers found her confession hilarious a they rushed to comment.
