Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon shares 'honest truth' of personal battle with 'painful' side effect

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has often been open about her anxiety struggles, even revealing how she was misdiagnosed as a child.

The actress tells her social media followers if she is having a bad day or shares how she keeps zen such as doing some yoga in her dressing room.

But Samia, who is famed for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, wasn't always as in control of what was happened and on Loose Women in 2022, the Eccles-born star revealed that she found herself receiving an asthma diagnosis as a child when she was actually suffering from crippling anxiety. So they ended up giving me inhalers when I was about 11 thinking that it was asthma but it wasn't, it was anxiety." In her latest update, Samia took to her Instagram Story and shared the personal side effect her own battle with her anxiety can have.
