Coronation Street star Sair Khan has confirmed her future on the show after giving birth to her first child. The actress was seen leaving the ITV soap earlier this year as she headed on maternity leave.
On-screen, Sair's character Alya Nazir left Weatherfield to pursue a job opportunity in Dublin, but before she left she and her boss Adam Barlow.

But the 36-year-old has confirmed it won't be too much longer before she is seen back on screens as Alya as she revealed she was officially back at work for the first time since having her baby boy in April. She captioned the post: "I am Backstreet." Sair welcomed a son with her partner Nathan Chilton after a 22-hour labour which she described as an "absolute rollercoaster".
