However, after 23 years on the soap, the 55 year old recently revealed that he’d be taking a step back from his time on the show.
Instead, Chris is swapping the soap world for the theatre world and he is set to play Captain Hook in the stage show of Peter Pan later this year.
His new role was announced by the Alban Arena in Saint Albans in July and fans will be able to see the soap star between December 8-31.
