Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has admitted she 'doesn't know' anything about her comeback story after confirming her return to the cobbles.
The actress officially confirmed her return to the ITV soap earlier this week as she joined her former soap family at an awards bash.
Rumours started to swirl early last month about her return to Weatherfield. They said at the time that Lucy, 27, was going to be heading back to the ITV studios in the coming weeks to film brand new scenes, but it is expected that Lucy’s new scenes won’t air until Christmas or the new year.
And shortly after the reports emerged, it seemed on-screen mum Tina O'Brien confirmed her return was true. The Sarah Barlow actress was celebrating her 40th birthday at the time when she shared a picture of herself on set in the Platts' home with Helen Worth, Sue Nicholls, Jack P Shepherd, Ben Price and Julia Goulding who all play members of her on-screen family. "Yesterday treated to a gorgeous surprise celebration by my wonderful Platt fam," she typed alongside the sweet snap.
