It's not the first time the actor has shared that his dad, Paul Riordan, also works in the TV world. Fans were previously surprised to discover that Jude's dad was known for his work behind the scenes on many much-loved shows.
Paul has forged a successful career in showbusiness as a television director. He broke through in a behind-the-scenes role in Hollyoaks before he went on to earn directing credits for popular soaps such as Emmerdale and Casualty.
And last month, Paul was working on some scenes for Corrie which involved his son and his Jude's on-screen family. Now, Jude has been back working with his dad again on the cobbles.
