Jack told his 36,300 followers that his puppy had suddenly passed away on his Instagram story. He shared several photos with the caption: "Utterly devastated to say we lost my best boy Frank today very unexpectedly to an aggressive cancer.

Jack played the character Jacob Hay in the hit series until January of this year. The character left the cobbles after his father Damon played by Ciaran Griffiths left suddenly.
