Coronation Street's Faye Brookes celebrates birthday on honeymoon with new husband
ok.co.ukFaye Brookes celebrated her 36th birthday while on a lavish Maldives honeymoon with husband Iwan Lewis. The Coronations Street star tied the knot with actor Iwan during a fairytale wedding in the Cotswolds just ten months after they first got together, and seven months after their engagement.
The pair jetted off to the Maldives at the end of last month and on Sunday had another reason to celebrate as Faye turned 35 while staying on the beautiful island.To kick things off, Faye, who plays the role of Kate Connor in Corrie posted a snap to Instagram as she held up a bottle of bubbles in delight while on their hotel bed where she beamed at the camera.
The soap star looked stunning as she donned a white cap, bikini top and shorts. As the birthday celebrations continued, Iwan paid a special tribute to Faye's first birthday as his wife and spoke about their time in the Maldives.
Alongside a black and white photo of Faye sitting on the bed with a present, Iwan wrote the sweet caption: "Today is my beautiful wife’s birthday … what a way to end an incredible 9 days away in the Maldives for our honeymoon.
