Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney has been supported by her co-stars as she revealed a brand new achievement. The actress has been working hard in training for her first-ever half marathon.
Elle, who is famed for playing Amy Barlow in the ITV soap, took part in the Manchester Half marathon over the weekend which saw 24,000 runners take to the streets of Manchester and attempt to tackle the 13.1 mile route in support of various charities and organisations.
The race saw participants set off from Old Trafford, heading through Hulme, the city centre, Stretford, Sale, Sale Moor, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Whalley Range and ending right back where it all began. Alongside pictures of her celebrating completing the impressive challenge as she posed with her medal around her neck, Elle wrote on Instagram: "first half marathon, completed it mate. "SO proud to have completed my first ever half marathon at @mcrhalf !!!
