Coronation Street's Colston Smith hits out at soap after unflattering snap

Coronation Street's Colson Smith called out the soap for posting an unflattering snap of him on their social media page.The actor, 23, who plays Craig Tinker was notably upset after the show recently shared a picture of him to promote a storyline alongside his onscreen girlfriend Faye Windass with the caption: "Will Faye come clean about her near kiss with Michael?!" Not impress with what he saw, Colson took the comment section hit back at the show, he wrote: "Nice angle of me this :/".

But many fans were quick to reassure Colson as one said: "You look great!" "It's relatable, makes you genuine and real and normal, it's actually wonderful as it shows compassion and care," another insisted while a third wrote: "you look great!". "Aw you're gorgeous," quipped a third as a fourth joked: "Why do I find this comment relatable?" Colson decided to lose weight at the end of 2019 and has spoken candidly about his epic ten-stone weight loss in a revealing interview.

The 23 year old admitted that while he has come a long way on the health front, he still sees "that fat kid" when he looks in the mirror.

Speaking to Runner's World last year, the soap star said: "That fat kid is the kid that I've looked at every day in the mirror, and I still see him now. "It's a battle I'm probably going to carry with me for the rest of my life.
