The actress is currently playing Cassie Plummer in the ITV soap having joined the cast as the estranged mum of Tyrone Dobbs last year.
Her casting was revealed almost a year ago, in April 2023, and she made her first appearance in June last year as Tyrone's real mum and the daughter of Evelyn Plummer.
After a tricky start, Cassie appears to have mended her fractured relationship with Evelyn, played by Dame Maureen Lipman, and has settled into the Dobbs' family home with Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, his wife Fiz Stape and their children Hope and Ruby.
