CORONATION Street legend Charles Dale looks unrecognisable as he reveals his surprising new career. The former soap star, 59, is best remembered for his role as Dennis Stringer in Corrie.
He joined the long-running ITV show back in 2000 and remained on the cobbles for two years. However, during his short stint his character was involved in a number of dramatic storylines.
Dennis was tragically killed off in a car crash while on his way to Weatherfield General Hospital after discovering Les Battersby unconscious.
While Les survived and was unharmed, Dennis met his fate. Now, exactly 20 years on from his departure from soapland, Charles has a completely new career.
