The cast of Coronation Street were forced off set while filming outside after a dramatic change in weather on the Salford set.
Actress Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor in the popular ITV soap, took to Instagram to share that she had to abandon filming due to torrential rainfall.
Sharing a video of herself and an umbrella, she added the text: "Rained off on the cobbles this morning... great start to a Monday @coronationstreet." Samia's co-star Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker, shared his regret over his clothing as he arrived on set in shorts and yellow sliders.
Sharing a snap, he wrote: "I almost had to go into the winter wardrobe this morning", alongside a frozen emoji. The filming setback comes as the UK continues to be hit with the aftermath of Hurricane Lee, with much of the country being issued a yellow weather warning.
