Many of our favourite soaps on TV including Coronation Street have a number of older actors whose roles have been questioned during this global pandemic.
This is due to the fact that they are more vulnerable and so a number of key actors won’t be able to return to filming as normal in the coming weeks.
For Coronation Street, this means some of their most iconic actors such as Ken Barlow, played by Bill Roache (88) and Audrey Roberts, played by Sue Nicholls (76) will not be allowed back on set.
Although Emmerdale has resumed filming a number of episodes with social distancing measures in place, Corrie has not yet started recording again.
