In coming episodes, Evelyn spots a man mistreating his dog on the street and she quickly approaches him. It isn’t long before her close friend Roy Cropper comes to her rescue and backs her up.
However, he is terrified as the dog owner, Terry, starts to turn on him, but Evelyn’s daughter, Cassie Plummer, comes to get involved.
As Cassie comes to their rescue, Roy films the man on Evelyn’s phone, and her grandson, Tyrone Dobbs, reports him to the police.
