Coronation Street dropped a coronavirus clanger after claiming Weatherfield County's match on Monday night was sold out. Dad Sean Tully wanted to treat son Dylan to the game after struggling to connect with the 12-year-old.

Dylan, played by Liam McCheyne, was desperate to see his team in action. Sean was keen to make an impression - but discovered the stadium was sold out.

He later went on the hunt for corporate tickets and paid £300 for a pair and a tour - with even that a total no-no for the past eight months.

However, sport-loving Corrie viewers were quick to spot the howler. Football grounds have been closed to fans across the UK since March, with only officials and media allowed to attend.
