Coronation Street fans say 'what a transformation' as Samia Longchambon shows off 'new look'

Coronation Street fans were left stunned as Samia Longchambon showed off her 'new look'. It wasn't a permanent change but the actres took to social media to share a selfie of her Halloween transformation which was featured in the ITV soap on Monday night (October 31).

In the Instagram post, Samia, known for playing Maria Windass on the cobbles, could be seen pouting for a selfie. The soap star's lips were slicked with black lippy to match her white and black smokey eye look.

But the biggest transformation of all was her hair. Samia, 41, could be seen without her usual light brown locks and instead was seen sporting a curly wig that boasted black tresses on the top and more silvery-white curls underneath. Samia started the caption of her post to her 433,000 followers with a string of emojis including a crying laughing face and female and male zombies.

She added: "Thanks @bekigouldingx @corriemakeup for this creation.. I loved it! #halloween #corrie." And it didn't take long for the comments to come flooding in as Samia's new - but temporary - appearance took them by surprise.
