The cast of Coronation Street are set to be facing a tight deadline in coming weeks ahead of returning back to work. The ITV soap suspended filming in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, but according to soap star Andy Whyment, the cast and crew are looking at returning to the Weatherfield set on June 8.
But there is one problem, as he revealed there are some half-filmed episodes that need finishing off before they can start filming the next batch.
Andy, 39, who plays Kirk Sutherland on the show, believes it will give them room to film another three weeks of content. Speaking on Talk Sports The Sports Bar, he told Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy: "They're [show bosses] looking at going back around June 8th.
