Coronation Street star Faye Brookes is set to marry her co-star beau in a glitzy wedding today in the Cotswolds. Faye announced her engagement to theatre actor Iwan Lewis back in January and they are now going to make the ultimate commitment after just ten months together. “They’re tying the knot today in the Cotswolds,” The Sun reports. “It's a traditional church wedding, then a huge reception at a posh venue nearby - then they're staying at a spa for the night.” Bride Faye, 35, has not shared any pictures, but she posted a snap of a love quote about soulmates on her Instagram stories last night.

On 11 August, Faye shared an inside look at the process of planning her dream wedding. The soap star shared a series of clips and photos showing her dress fitting, what looks like her table settings and a couple of mood boards, so it’s clear that preparations for the big day have been well underway for a while now.

Under the montage, Faye thanked all of her vendors and wrote: “What a team! Can’t wait for you to see what they’ve designed for our wedding day.

Unbelievably grateful.” She also paid tribute to her beau, who she called her “best friend”, adding that she’s “thankful” to be doing all this with him.
