Cops search for vulnerable Scots pensioner who has been missing overnight

Police have launched a frantic search for a vulnerable pensioner who has been missing overnight in the Lanarkshire area.

Thomas Brian Porteous was last seen at around 10am on Saturday at Woodburn Court in Hamilton. Concerns are growing for the 80-year-old’s welfare and police are asking the public for help to find Brian, who is known to frequent in both Motherwell and Hamilton.

He is described as white, 5ft fin tall, of a slim build and has white hair.He was last seen wearing a khaki green parka style coat with a hood and navy trousers.Inspector Martin McKendrick from the Lanarkshire Division said: "As time goes by we are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Brian who is vulnerable.
