Cops hunt man wearing 'Moncler' jacket after woman raped on footpath in Livingston

Police are appealing for information after a 30-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a hooded man in Livingston. The woman was walking along the footpath on the south side of Riverside Court at around 5.45pm on Wednesday, September 30, when she was approached by a man from behind and assaulted.

The male suspect is described as white, in his late 20s, slim build and around 5ft 9in.He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and a distinctive body warmer which was a black, shiny puffer style and believed to be the brand Moncler.Cops are now appealing for witnesses one week on from the alarming incident and hope the suspects distinct clothing may jog peoples memories.
