The construction of a new Paisley Grammar School remains "on track" as Renfrewshire Council provides its latest update on the major project.
The local authority is working to a planned completion date of the summer of 2026, with the state-of-the-art facility set to open for August of that year.
The £85.5 million development is taking place on land next to the former Chivas administration building in Renfrew Road and will replace its ageing namesake in the town's Glasgow Road.An update on the programme of works was included in a report on the learning estate to this week's education and children's services policy board.
It said: "The project to deliver a new Paisley Grammar School continues with construction progressing on track."A visible structure of what will become the new three-storey school and community campus can now be seen from across Paisley.
