Conor McGregor has no intention of retiring despite suffering his first stoppage defeat against Dustin Poirier. McGregor was knocked out in the second round at UFC 257 on Sunday morning in his first fight for 12 months.
It was the Irishman's second defeat in three bouts and his third in the UFC. But his head coach John Kavanagh insists he will learn from the loss and make the necessary changes.
Speaking on Instagram, he said: "We had a big fight and unfortunately we came up short but here's the secret; you will live with it, we are all disappointed but we're OK. "In Conor's case the last six months have been amazing.
