Connor Goldson has declared he still wants to stay at Rangers - but challenged the club to climb to "the next level". The influential defender has entered the final year of his deal and revealed ahead of Thursday's Europa League showdown with Brondby that extension talks had stalled.
And the 28-year-old admitted, with another baby on the way in his family, his next step isn't all about him. However, Goldson maintained he does want to remain with the Premiership champions and hopes a breakthrough arrives in the near future.
Asked if Rangers is somewhere he'd like to stay, Goldson told BT Sport: "Yeah, it is. I've said this a lot of times before."But, at the same time, I want to see the club go to the next level.
