In her new book, Connie: A Memoir, the legendary 78-year-old journalist looked back on the time she was “sexually molested” by a “trusted family doctor” — the same one who delivered her when she was born way back on August 20, 1946.

The news anchor “never” had a gynecological exam and had no idea what to expect during her first visit.
And it turned out to be a nightmare experience for Connie. She recalled: What the f**k. Throughout the assault, Connie said the doctor was “coaching” her.
She continued: We cannot imagine how hard this must have been for Connie. It is sickening that a doctor — someone you are supposed to trust with your care — would take advantage of a patient while she was in a vulnerable position.
