Concerned mum organises huge event to help with cost of living crisis in Ayrshire

A big-hearted Ayrshire mum is putting on a swanky black-tie ball next month to raise vital funds for Kilmarnock's food banks.

Hannah McMillan is putting on her first-ever fundraising ball at the Park Hotel on Friday, November 18.The 27-year-old Ayrshire College student found herself fretting for her community as the cost of living crisis continues to spiral.She said: "I've been noticing how the cost of living is putting pressure on the community already and it's likely to get worse during the winter months."Although I'm in a lucky position, even I'm starting to feel the weight of the rising costs.
