Concern is now growing for the 49-year-old from south Manchester, officers said. Andrew is described as being white and around 5ft 10in tall.
He is of slim build and has short, grey hair with short, grey stubble. In an appeal posted on social media in the early hours of this morning, officers said Andrew was last seen wearing a blue hooded coat, with blue jeans, black shoes and a navy blue backpack.
