Comic Sara Pascoe is offering to buy books about race for people who can’t afford it. The 39-year-old shared snaps of a series of novels about understanding racism on Instagram in the wake of George Floyd’s death and the global outrage it has sparked.
Among the books are ‘White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism’ by Robin Diangelo and ‘Me And White Supremacy’ by Layla F Saad.
Sara, who’s a writer herself, wrote: ‘Do you want to read a book about race but can’t afford it right now? ‘DM me your address and preference and I’ll buy it for you.’ The comedian insisted the gesture is perfectly legit, adding: ‘I promise this isn’t a trick and I won’t turn up at your house and sing through your letter box. ‘Love
