Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Desi Lydic, Ramy Youssef, and Hannah Berner are some of the comedians who have signed up to perform at Comic Relief‘s Stand-Up for LA benefit.
The fundraiser, which will take place at The Town Hall in NYC on March 3, will help support children and families working to rebuild and recover following the L.A.
wildfires. Other stand-up comedians who will perform include Chris Distefano and Josh Johnson, and more celebrities will be announced soon. “The destruction caused by the LA fires is almost unimaginable and the long-term impact on children and families in underserved communities is even greater,” said Michele Ganeless, CEO of Comic Relief US. “This disaster has exacerbated crises, like homelessness and hunger, and disrupted youth education, further contributing to socioeconomic instability and vulnerability.
Rebuilding isn’t just about today; we need to step up and make sure families have what they need to recover and thrive for years to come.” RELATED: PGA Presidents “Beseeching” Studios, Steamers & More To Bring Productions Back To L.A.
