Comedian Tim Dillon Returning To Netflix With Talk Show-Style Special On American Current Events This Fall
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Popular comedian and podcaster Tim Dillon has been set to return to Netflix this fall with a new, unscripted, talk show-style special that will focus on America’s current events.
Set over the backdrop of the upcoming election, Dillon’s new hour will focus on the most important, but often overlooked, element of our political system: The People.
And pose the question: Do we get what we deserve? Topics will lead to conversations no one wants to have at the holiday table (but that Dillon isn’t afraid to lead).
In addition to hosting/starring, Dillon is credited as creator and executive producer of the as-yet-untitled special. Elan Gale will exec produce for TheYearOfElan Productions, with EPs Bill Dixon and Brian Frange to serve as co-showrunners.
