Comedian Darren Harriott and Love Island: After Sun favourite is the latest celebrity hoping to skate to victory after officially revealing he will be competing in the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice.
The 34 year old star, shared the news with Trisha Goddard on Talk TV – but aside from being excited about appearing on the show, Darren also admitted he was more than a little nervous about taking to the ice. “I’ve got giant feet, I don't skate and I can't dance!
My family has already made bets – they’re making bets that I’ll fall on the first episode,” he told Trisha.The news was also later confirmed on the official Dancing on Ice Twitter account, which wrote: "Comedian @DarrenHarriott hopes to keep the laughs going on the ice #DancingOnIce @ITV".
Best known for his stand-up work on the BBC Radio 4 series, Darren Harriott’s Black Label, the comedian is no stranger to competition after being nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, and again for Best Show Award in 2019.
